Dr. Pepito grew up in South Texas and received her DDS from The University of Texas School of Dentistry. Her dental philosophy is that every patient should understand their treatment options and be an active participant in preventative care. Patient comfort is her daily priority. She has been serving the general Cambridge area for the past 3 years. Her passion is in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. When she is not in the office, she enjoys crafts and puzzle games.
Dr. Sun graduated Summa Cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology from Dartmouth College and subsequently earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She was the recipient of the Gold Medal Award for exceptional scholastic achievement and Dr. Norman B. Nesbett Award for excellence in clinical dentistry and was elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for her overall achievement during her D.M.D. training.
With a particular interest in dentofacial aesthetics and complex oral rehabilitation, Dr. Sun pursued additional years of advanced training in Prosthodontics at Harvard and was awarded a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) and a certificate in Prosthodontics. She was the recipient of the distinguished Dr. Joseph L. Henry Award for her extraordinary accomplishments in both research and clinical dentistry, and significant contributions to Harvard during her years of specialty training in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Sun maintains the highest standards in patient care and believes in a comprehensive and customized approach in taking care of each patient. Her gentleness and patience have helped many patients with dental anxiety. Dr. Sun is also a certified provider of Invisalign clear aligners, as well as Botulinum toxin for esthetics, TMJ, headache, and orofacial pain therapy.
Dr. Sun has presented at multiple national conferences and published on the topics of implant therapy, prosthodontic rehabilitation, and facial esthetics over the years. She is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Sun enjoys music, photography, and travelling. She is also involved in the admissions ambassador program of Dartmouth College. She and her husband are both Dartmouth alumni and love hiking throughout New England.
Dr. Hoge graduated with high honors from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Biological Sciences. She completed her dental training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and currently serves as a lecturer and tutorial leader for the Harvard Dental predoctoral students. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Massachusetts Association of Endodontists, and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Intent on patient-centered-care, Dr. Hoge aims for the pain-free root canal, and has experience managing both patients with dental anxiety as well as pediatric patients. She is proficient in primary root canal therapy, dental trauma management, and non-surgical retreatments using microscopes. In her free time, Dr. Hoge enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, and theater.
Dr. Chan W. Cheong is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship. Following dental school, Dr. Cheong pursued postgraduate studies at Harvard University and received a Doctor of Medical Science as well as a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In his years of practice, Dr. Cheong has believed in combining multidisciplinary expertise, dynamic communication, and mutual trust to deliver the best possible patient experience.
Dr. Cheong specializes in Cosmetic and Advanced Reconstructive dentistry. He has a particular interest in restoring teeth to their most natural appearance with all-ceramic veneers, crowns, and partial crowns. In addition, he has extensive experience in CAD/CAM one-visit crown restorations, as well as other computer-assisted implant placement and restorations. Using the most advanced digital dentistry, Dr. Cheong is committed to providing the least invasive and most precise procedures available.
Dr. Cheong is currently a lecturer and course director at Harvard School of Dental Medicine – Advanced Graduate Education in Prosthodontics. Dr. Cheong is a member and leader in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Equilibration Society, the American College of Prosthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Soo-Woo Kim is currently a lecturer and previously served as a Pre-doctoral program director and a post-doctoral program faculty in periodontology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He graduated with bachelor of science in biochemistry from University of California, Riverside. He then pursued his master of science degree in bioengineering at University of California, Los Angeles. With an influence of his academic mentors, he received his dentistry and periodontology training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and his periodontology training from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He finished his Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) in oral biology. He was selected as a Presidential Scholar from Harvard University during his post-doctoral education and research fellow and is a recipient of AAP Educator Award from the American Academy of Periodontology and Young Investigator Award from the International Association of Dental Research. With his backgrounds in biochemistry and engineering, Dr. Kim is actively engaged in research for the development of ideal hard and soft tissue grafting materials. He has multiple publications including peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
